In Qatar, we are one of the largest local providers of financial services including accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services. Ahmed Tawfik & Co. CPA, (formerly known as Nawar & Co.), was established in Qatar in 1976 to provide distinctive accounting and auditing services to its clients.

Further to a successful cooperation initiated in 2008, Ahmed Tawfik & Co. CPA has joined Mazars international partnership in September 2011.

Throughout the years, Ahmed Tawfik & Co. CPA has managed to prove itself to a diversified number of clients by providing them with professional services.

We consider ourselves the largest providers of auditing and tax services in Qatar, right after the Big Four firms. Actually, in the tax department, due to our moderate price ranges, we actually have a larger client base in comparison to the Big Four firms.

Our client base includes a wide range of clients including local and international clients.

Who We Are
Mr. Ahmed Tawfik Nassim, the local managing partner in Doha, is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from California, United States of America and a member of the AICPA (American International Certified Public Accountant).

Mr. Tawfik has been the local manager for Nawar Co. since 1984. In 1995, Tawfik become the country senior partner and had control over all the decision-making in all departments of the firm.

During 2006, Mr. Tawfik became the managing partner and the company name was officially changed to Ahmed Tawfik & Co. CPA.

Our company employs staff with different nationalities and backgrounds. Our large client base forces us to ensure that we have employ staff that can interact with our clients in both Arabic and English – those being the main languages spoken and used in Qatar.

Ahmed Tawfik & Co. CPA currently has four main departments out of which it serves the public:

The company provides a numerous amount of services that are nested into the above-mentioned categories. Other services may include, company formations, liquidation, IT consultancy, feasibility studies, arbitration, payroll outsourcing, etc.

Even though the firm provides a vast variety of services, the firm’s main source of revenue comes from the auditing and taxation departments.

Inside the firm
Taking a look inside the firm, we employ an average of 30 people, out of which we have 2 directors and 4 managers. We ensure that we hold enough staff throughout the year in order to meet the demands of the Qatari market and our clientele.
